You will lead a unit within the organization, and direct the account management, strategy, creative, digital, technical, and production team of that unit to achieve the desired results for the client, and profitability to the organization.
Job description
Report directly to the CEO and/or General Manager and is accountable for profitability and development of the business unit.
Manage the P&L of the unit to maximize profit, maintaining a healthy cash flow, and sustainable business.
Lead the account management, creative and strategy, digital and technical, and production team members to deliver overall business unit success.
Identify, hire, coach, and retain qualified team members to create an effective and positive work culture, and to continuously upgrade our people.
Support the team members when required to ensure continuity in service quality, on-time delivery, and cost management. Manage and grow existing business under the unit, and identify and secure new business opportunities for growth.
Maintain and share proficiency and knowledge with the team and organization in market intelligence, growth strategies, concepts and creative ideas, and operational improvements.
Continuously grow and learn in relevant leadership, strategy, and operational knowledge and skills by participating in training and educational opportunities.
Meet our operational procedure standards by following documentation, reports, production, productivity, quality, and service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements; legal and ethical compliance.
Job requirement
Experience in leading a team in delivering profitable results while managing the P&L
Experience in managing a team of 6 or more people, with 3 or more direct report
Experience in managing large accounts with total billings of above US$1m annually
Familiar with working with agency creative processes
At least 8 years of experience in an agency line
Tertiary, other qualification or relevant experience
A real understanding and passion for business development and strategies, organizational management, and leadership
Must be an ambitious, independent, and motivated self-starter who can work well as part of a young and dynamic team
Interest in working in other countries around the region will be a plus point for future opportunities
